Security Entrance Gates – Technology Park (ATP) Eveleigh
Sophistication and Security Align
With a remodel of a busy, historic building, not only was housing over 10,000 employees in a safe and flowing environment important, but so was the hardware’s integration into the space.
The Australian Technology Park (ATP), set in Eveleigh NSW, has recently seen redevelopments take place to revitalise the once 19th century railway workshops. With a focus on technology revolution and community development, this is now the home for the headquarters of one of Australia’s leading banks.

With such a large volume of people entering and exiting the building each day, smooth traffic flow and the general safety of staff was a key focus. The solution designed by Gunnebo also needed to be aesthetically pleasing and fit with the industrial feel of the space whilst ensuring minimal congestion. To meet that brief, Gunnebo provided the stainless steel SpeedStile FP EV securing 18 lanes in the building across two main entry points. This configuration allows for up to 40 people per minute to pass through each lane thereby reducing wait time and unnecessary congregation in the foyer.
These SpeedStiles are also a popular choice with Gunnebo customers and architects due to the customisable cabinet finishes and lids, enabling them to align with the chosen design aesthetic. At South Eveleigh, the gates were configured to not only provide flow and security, but to fit nicely within the design brief.
