User Safety
• In the event of a power failure, the airlock can be
operated by a battery backup for up to 100 cycles.
• Various infrared sensors ensure that the airlock users are
protected against the moving leaves. The motor current
is measured, providing a second level of protection.
• In emergency situations, the unlocking of the door is
depends on the lock type:If you have a fail-safe lock, the door can be electrically unlocked either by a potential free contact supplied by the fire alarm system or by using a break-glass unit located in the secure zone (release D1 and D2) or in the airlock (release the external door only if the internal door is locked).
If the lock is a fail-secure lock, each door can unlock with a
mechanical key.
• The BA9RS, BAH9RS or BA10RS models with P1A / BR1-S
panes can be optionally fitted with an emergency
opening system driven by intrinsic energy in accordance
with article CO48 of the legislation governing the
operation of automatic doors.
User Comfort
• The airlock is managed with a control console made
through a 10” WiFi colour tablet.
• No more costs and time for the wiring between airlock
and console: just one control console tablet can manage
several airlocks.
• The settings of the doors (speed, acceleration, etc.) are
automatically made with the power on. The modification
of some functional parameters are then easy to modify
on site in compliance with the client’s needs.
• The control console tablet proposes a lot of other
functionalities (operating mode, even log, diagnose, etc. ).

Installation
• CompacSas BA is designed to be installed indoors, in a dry
environment and on an existing floor.
• A semi-outdoor external façade installation is possible if
subject to certain conditions (it must be installed
beneath a canopy, must include a weather kit, and
Gunnebo must have been consulted).
• There must be at least 500mm clearance above the
airlock in order to access the airlock’s control and drive
units.
